Drink (coffee) and Draw (comics) Dec 8!

I'm excited to announce that we're confirmed for the first (of what I hope will be come monthly) Drink & Draw at Roos Roast Coffee from 5-8 pm December 8, 2011!

Come hang out with your fellow cartoonists while you get some comics work done. If we get a good turnout, maybe we can even turn on some livestreaming like Justin.tv or a Google+ hangout so we can connect with cartoonists around the world.

This was easily one of my most challenging classes. A group of high-energy boys. But with this final assignment I managed to get them to work as a group and create a unique and fun comics narrative. They were racing against the clock, but didn't want the project to end.

A lot of fun. Gonna get a chimichanga now.

Tensions run high as the students' stories converge on the giant jam comic.

Having the kids create a jam comic on a giant piece of bristol. Everyone starts on their own side and they work their ways toward each other's stories.

Super fun to listen to them collaborate more and more as their stories converge.
