Detroit Urban Craft Fair this weekend!

If you're in the SE Michigan area this weekend I hope you'll stop by the Detroit Urban Craft Fair and say hello!

It's a free event this November 21st at the Majestic Theatre in Detroit, MI. Many terrific indy arts vendors will be there, including the Tiny Astronaut Press crew: Mark Rudolph, Anne Drozd, and me!

We're debuting some new items at the show, including the Switch Runners Artist Edition, and the new "Pocket Edition" of The Front! We'll also have some items previously only sold online, like our Tiny Hamilton mini-comic. On top of all that, we'll be giving away absolutely free comics to kids!

Hope to see you there!

Switch Runners Preorder!

I wanted to share something that I'm pretty excited about--one of my favorite projects from the past year, Switch Runners, is coming out in print and is now available for preorder!

This is a special limited-run printing of the book in a special size. It will be approx. 5.5" wide by 8.25" deep (slightly larger than a "manga size", but smaller than an American "floppy"), featuring a cardstock cover, the full 16-page story plus 4 new pages featuring character bios designed to look and feel like the file cards featured on the backs of many popular 80s toys.

There are two versions available: Artist and Regular Editions. With the Artist Edition you get the comic, 3 full-color collector cards, and a piece of original art penciled by me and inked by my buddy Mark Rudolph. The Regular edition is the comic alone, but we'll sign it if you ask us to.

Both editions also feature links to exclusive downloads, such as a full PDF version of the comic, a CBZ version (click here to find out what that means, if you don't know), behind-the-scenes production sketches and notes, and more.

We'll be doing some original art incentives (giving away original art from the comic with certain orders) on Twitter over the next couple of weeks, so follow me or Mark if you want in on that.

We've limited the preorders to 30 Editions, so I hope you'll get one for you or for a young comics enthusiast in your life soon.

And if you want to try before you buy, you can read the entire 16-page story online for free on the Sugary Serials site.
